In Kingdom Builders: Meet the Team! readers are introduced to a team of four young friends—Chris, John, Mary, and Martha—who are dedicated to solving real-world problems while embodying Catholic virtues. Chris, the leader, guides the group through their mission to serve others, using the Engineering Design Cycle (Ask, Imagine, Plan, Create, Test, and Improve) to find solutions. John, the Materials Manager, ensures the team uses resources wisely and responsibly. Mary, the Virtuous Guide, encourages the group to stay ethical and caring throughout their projects. Martha, the Record Keeper, documents the team’s ideas and progress.
 
Each book is aligned to one or more lessons in all grades PK-8 in the Kingdom Builders Core Curriculum Programs.
